Dow drops 35pts, Satyam declines 5%

US stocks fell on Wednesday after Intel reported a disappointing profit and outlook. While the Dow was down 34.95 points (0.28%) at 12,466.16, the Nasdaq Composite declined 23 points (0.95%) to 2,394.59.

Indian ADRs, too, declined yesterday. Satyam dropped over 5% to $21.51. Wipro slipped nearly 3% to $12.53. Infosys, HDFC Bank, Tata Motors and Genpact also declined.

ICICI Bank and Dr. Reddy's finished with marginal gains.
