Dr Reddy's gets USFDA nod for Glimepiride

 According to information available on the USFDA website, Glimeperide is a generic version of Sanofi-Aventis' Amaryl.

 Dr Reddy's has also recieved tentative USFDA approval for the anti-cholesterol drug Pravastatin sodium tablets in multiple strengths. The drug is a generic version of Bristol-Myers Squibb's Pravachol.
