The Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI) has questioned at least three senior executives of Samsung Electronics in connection with customs duty evasion on imports of network equipment early this week, an official of the central agency told Business Standard.

The authorities are examining whether the South Korean firm misused the free-trade agreement (FTA) while importing these equipment to India. According to the pact India has with South Korea, network and mobile radio communication gear are duty-free. 

The probe agency is learnt to have taken possession of multiple physical and digital records during a search operation conducted on the premises of the South
