The Ajay and Vikram Shriram-controlled DSCL Ltd has reported a 31 per cent rise in second quarter (July-September) profit after tax to Rs 17.92 crore in 2004-05 and a 35 per cent rise in Q2 net revenue to Rs 445.94 crore in 2004-05. |
"The improvement in earnings is attributable to better operating margins in the plastics business and profits from the agri traded products division," the company said in a statement. DSCL's board has declared an interim dividend of 25 per cent for the year, translating into a payout of Rs 4.73 crore (including dividend tax). |
