Durabuild Tech readies Rs 97 cr for expansion

The investment is approved by SBI Caps which is also funding the project in the debt equity ratio of 1:2.

With this investment, the company is installing another four assembling ACP plants with a varying capacity from 3-6.5 metres per minutes.

As of the now, the ACPs are manufactured by Durabuild's supplier in Taiwan and South Korea, which is given the specifications and it makes products under the brand name of "Durabuild".

But the new plant would help the company manufacture ACPs with colour choice from its in house research and development (R&D). Durabuild Technologies plans to export up to 70 per cent of its produce to China and other fast-growing markets from this new plant.

It offers two exclusive grades of ACPs which have opened up a world of possibilities for architects to explore faster and better finishes for exterior and interiors of the building.

PVDF coated panels are for external application giving resistance against corrosion, chalking and fading and offers a guarantee period of 10 years. Polyester coated panels are for interior applications which can have no or minimum guarantee period.

Durabuild ACPs consist of two coil "� coated aluminium sheets, permanently bonded to a non-toxic and recyclable thermoplastic core. Bonding is achieved by both chemical and mechanical action, which gives extra bond integrity to the panels. ACPs have emerged as a material of choice for surface finishing due to qualities like light weight, modern finish, easy installation processes, and weatherproof coatings and evolved workability.

These ACPs have opened up tremendous possibilities for architects to explore the faster and better finishes for exteriors and interiors of buildings.

Durabuild panels are flat yet easily workable for bends and curvatures in modern facades and plush interiors.

With a polymer core inside, the Durabuild panels can be easily cut and formed like an ordinary aluminium sheet. Sound barrier, fire resistance, acid and alkali resistance are some of its properties. They are also resistant to impact and vibrations, at the same time provide the most stable surface finishing solution unmatched in terms of durability.
