Easun Reyrolle, one of the players in power management solutions, is targetting doubling of its exports to Rs 10 crore over the next two years. The Rs 50 crore Chennai-headquartered firm is also looking at expanding its portfolio of offerings to take on biggies like ABB and Siemens.

The company, a JV between Chennai-based Easun Group and Reyrolle Protection of UK, posted a topline of Rs 21.62 crore for the first quarter of the current fiscal with a net of Rs 2.32 crore.

Said J D N Sharma, CEO, Easun Reyrolle: "We have restructured our operations to be lean and we look forward to aggressive growth, given the anticipated increased investment in the Indian power sector. We are looking at both organic and inorganic options to fuel our growth. The company has a total cash of Rs 22 crore and we are a debt-free firm. We will look at leveraging our cash resources if we decide in favour of inorganic growth."

The company presently has two manufacturing locations in Hosur and Chennai, besides a technology development centre in Bangalore. Sharma added that the company has substantially diversified its offerings over the last few years with the addition of power system automation, energy metering and switching solutions to its range of protection products and systems.

Added Martin Bell, director, Reyrolle: "This joint venture of ours has more than met all the expectations and both partners derived significant benefits out of this. This is one of the most successful JVs of Reyrolle across the globe and we will continue to support in its further growth plans."
