ebm-Papst sets up 2nd facility

German industrial fan manufacturer ebm-Papst, in joint venutre with Nadi Airtechnics, on Thursday inaugurated its second manufacturing facility in India at Chennai. The company has invested Rs 66 crore in the plant.

Speaking to reporters after inaugurating the facility, JB Kamdar, managing director of ebm-NADI, said the new facility had been set up on four acres and employs 200 people. The production capacity would be 1,500 fans a day and can be ramped up to 6,000 fans a day.
