eClerx Q4 net up 58% at Rs 48 cr

Consolidated net sales rise 37% to Rs 174 crore

KPO firm eClerx Services today reported 58% increase in consolidated net profit at Rs 48.16 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2013.

The Mumbai-headquartered firm had posted a net profit of Rs 30.41 crore in the year-ago period, it said in a BSE filing.

Consolidated net sales of eClerx rose by 37% to Rs 174.33 crore in January-March quarter of 2012-13 fiscal from Rs 127.56 crore in the same quarter of 2011-12 fiscal.

For the entire 2012-13 fiscal, eClerx's consolidated net profit rose to Rs 171.60 crore from Rs 159.77 crore in the 2011-12 fiscal.

Its consolidated net sales rose to Rs 660.53 crore in the last fiscal against Rs 472.88 crore in 2011-12 fiscal.
 

Founded in 2000, eClerx is a KPO providing middle and back office operations support to over 30 Fortune 500 companies.

Its clients include companies in ecommerce, retail, high tech, software, manufacturing, media, travel and financial services. The company employs about 6,000 people and has five delivery centres across the country.
