Financial services major Edelweiss Capital today said it has appointed S Ranganathan as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of the company.
"In his role as CFO, Ranganathan will be looking after all financial functions within the Edelweiss Group," Edelweiss Capital said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange.
Prior to joining Edelweiss, he was the CFO and Director in Bank of America Merrill Lynch.
Ranganathan, a member of the institute of Chartered Accountants of India, Institute of Company Secretaries of India and Institute of Cost and Works Accountant of India, has also worked with several Indian and global firms during his tow decade long career.
"I am looking forward to being part of his groups as it begins to branch out and become a financial powerhouse," Ranganathan said.
