EdServ fourth generation Education Company entered the pre-school and junior school segment, the company said in a filing to Bombay Stock Exchange.
As part of the roll out plan of its industrial demand alignment programme in 250 schools through Vidhyadhana Academy of Excellence, Education and Placement Company Edserv has signed letter of intent to acquire 100 per cent of the pre-school business of the Chennai- based Sparkling Minds for an all cash consideration of Rs 1.25 crore.
It is in the process of raising up to Rs 130 crore through the QIP route and plans to complete the entire process by the first quarter of 2010-11.
