Education and placement services company EdServ today said it is eyeing Rs 200 crore revenue over the next two years from its foray into the online coaching for chartered accountancy (CA).
The company has partnered with Chennai-based Sreeram Coaching Point to provide online CA coaching for students through www.Lampsglow.Com.
"This marks EdServ's foray into the estimated Rs 2,000 crore CA training market in India. We are expecting to capture 10 per cent market share and generate revenues of around Rs 200 crore over the next two years," EdServ Chairman and Chief Executive Officer S Giridharan told PTI.
The company will also focus on overseas markets like Middle East to tap the opportunities in the CA training space, he added.
The companies will work on a revenue sharing agreement and provide web-based lectures. EdServ aims to train about 2-3 lakh students over the next two years.
EdServ registered net income from sales/services of Rs 27.36 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2010.
Shares of Edserv were trading at Rs 155.00 apiece, up 0.98 per cent.
