Eicher Motors BoD nod for divestments

The board of directors of Eicher Motors today approved a proposal to explore the opportunities to divest the tractors and engine businesses consisting of its units at Mandideep, Parwanoo and Alwar on a slump sale to Tractors and Farm Equipment (TAFE).

According to a release issued by the company to the BSE today, "the board has authorised certain persons to enter into further discussions and negotiations in relation to the proposed sale."
