Eicher Motors domestic sales drop 21% in Jan

Commercial vehicle manufacturer Eicher Motors today announced a 21.70% decline in its domestic sales for the month of January. Total sales during the period were 2,045 units as against 2,612 units recorded in the same month a year ago.

Exports, however, ended on the better side with a total of 208 units as compared to 101 units in the corresponding previous period.

Total vehicle sales (domestic and export) for the company showed a dip of 17% at 2,253 units in January when compared with 2,713 units.
