EIH to build 250-room Oberoi hotel in Dubai

East India Hotels is planning 12 new projects in India and abroad.  The company is planning new, Oberoi brand luxury hotels.

An agreement for a 250 room Oberoi brand luxury hotel & 40 service apartments located at the Business Bay in Dubai has been signed.

Our Web Bureau adds: EIH posted a net profit of Rs 24.68 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2006 as against Rs 17.06 crore in Q1FY06.

According to a release issued to the BSE today, total income increased from Rs 155.67 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2005 to Rs 203.35 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2006.
