Hyderabad-based Aayuv Technologies, which runs eKincare, an online platform that enables users to monitor their critical medical information and view it anywhere anytime, has secured an undisclosed amount in funding from Hyderabad-based tech incubator-cum-seed fund BitChemy Ventures. The firm will use the funds to enhance its core platform and recommendation engine, in addition to expanding its data scientists team, its founder Kiran Kalakuntla told VC Circle.

News Corp announced on Saturday that it has acquired BigDecisions.com in India. The platform aims to help Indian consumers make smarter financial decisions through interactive, decision-making tools powered by sophisticated algorithms and data. It aims to provide a platform to deliver unbiased information and analysis to consumers on topics ranging from life and health insurance and retirement planning to providing for a child's education or buying and renting real estate. News Corp's investment follows its announcement in November that it had acquired a 25 per cent stake in PropTiger.com, a leading residential real estate platform.
