Eko Vehicles inks pact with UAE's Lootah Group

India's Eko Vehicles, manufacturers of non-polluting bikes, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with UAE's Lootah Technical Centre (LTC) to explore opportunities in commercially-viable sustainable transport.

LTC has developed several sustainable transport solutions like the solar car and solar boat among others.

Anil Ananthakrishna, Chairman & CEO of Eko Vehicles said there is a huge potential for sustainable transport in the Gulf region.

"With our highly effective technology, successful products and services combined with Lootah Technical Centre's strong local network and ground knowledge, we hope to work together and contribute to this sector in a major way," he said.

 

Yousif Saeed Lootah, Deputy CEO of LTC said, "With a rapid increase in investments in green and eco-friendly logistic means in the UAE and the region, we are happy to collaborate towards establishing a strong sustainable business together," Yousif Saeed Lootah said.
