Elcot, Mahindra Industrial Park ink pact

Electronics Corporation of Tamil Nadu (Elcot), the state agency for promoting IT industries, and Mahindra Industrial Park Ltd, the company behind Mahindra City, have signed a marketing agreement to promote Chennai and Mahindra City as an ideal destination for national and international investors.

The agreement was signed by Sudeep Jain, managing director of Elcot, and B G Menon, CEO of Mahindra Industrial Park.

Announcing the relationship, Vivek Harinarain, IT secretary of Tamil Nadu, said: "Mahindra City offers truly world class infrastructure to match the needs of global players and is an example of the importance given by the Government of Tamil Nadu in developing quality infrastructure and maintaining its position as the preferred IT destination for leading Indian and international investors."
