Emkay Share posts Rs 2.35 cr net profit

Emkay Share and Stock Brokers has recorded a net profit of Rs 2.35 crore on a total income of Rs 15.88 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2006.

The company was not listed during the previous financial year. The total income for the nine months of the current financial year is Rs 42.59 crore against Rs 29.17 crore for the corresponding period in the previous year.

Essel Propack net at Rs 41 cr

Essel Propack reported a net profit of Rs 41.1 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2006, 3.26 per cent higher compared with Rs 39.8 crore for the corresponding quarter in 2005.

Net sales for the period were 23.64 per cent, higher at Rs 281.9 crore, compared with Rs 228 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.

Hikal posts Rs 9 cr profit

Hikal, the preferred long-term outsourcing partner for leading global life sciences companies, has posted net sales of Rs 55.7 crore for the third quarter ended December 31, 2006, against Rs 55 crore of the corresponding quarter of same period.

The EBIDTA of the company stood at Rs 16.2 crore which is similar to the corresponding quarter and the net profit-after"�tax for the quarter stood at Rs 9.1 crore compared with Rs 9.9 crore in the corresponding quarter of previous year.
