Enzen Global Solutions Pvt. Ltd, the Bangalore-based energy and environment consulting firm, has announced the launch of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solution specifically designed for power distribution companies of the country.
The solution has been developed in partnership with Microsoft and Dakshin Haryana Bijili Vitaran Nigam Limited (DHBVNL).
The new solution called Integrated Distribution Management Solution (IDMS) can bring control, coordination, transparency and information accessibility to the power distribution sector of the country.
Since the unavailability of timely and coordinated information was a major hindrance in checking the distribution loss, IDMS seeks to help utilities automate and control all critical processes to provide seamless operations and informed decision-making.
“We wanted to bring in some cost effective solution which is transparent and easy to use. More than 2 years of extensive research has gone into it”, Satheesh Kumar, chief executive, Enzen Global Solutions Private Limited (EGSPL) told Business Standard. He said, the solution will ensure that the distribution company gets a rounded view of its activities.
