Era Infra bags Rs 357 cr order from Nabinagar Power

Nabinagar is setting up a power plant in Bihar

Era Infra Engineering Ltd (EIEL), Delhi-based contractor of infrastructure projects, said it has bagged a Rs 357 crore contract from Nabinagar Power Generating Company Ltd (NPGC).

NPGC is a Joint Venture (JV) between state-owned power generator NTPC Ltd and Bihar State Electricity Board.

"Era Infra has been awarded a contract for steam generator (SG) and offsite civil works package for Nabinagar Super Thermal Power Project," the flagship company of Era group said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).

NPGC is setting up the 1,980 Megawatt (Mw) Nabinagar power plant with three units of 660 Mw each in Aurangabad district in Bihar.

Era Infra Engineering's share price at the BSE was trading at Rs 144.5, up 0.4%, at 12:30 hrs on Monday.
