The fourth edition of the two-day mega IT event, eRevolution 2008 will open tomorrow with the collective initiative of the Governments of Punjab, Haryana and Chandigarh Administration, along with the Software Technology Parks of India, Nasscom, Indian Angels Network, The Indus Entrepreneur (TiE), and Young Indians (Yi).
Governor of Punjab S F Rodrigues shall formally inaugurate the conclave which will be focussing on "The Changing Landscape: Creating new Trends and Opportunities", with Nasscom President Som Mittal, and Nasscom Chairman Ganesh Natrajan kicking off the deliberations with their keynote presentations.
A session would be devoted to Nasscom's agenda for companies in the region to congregate and discuss performance management issues, share best practices and build strategies for ensuring performance excellence.
Principal Consultant, A T Kearney, Mohit Rana, shall present the findings of Nasscom-A T Kearney's recent study of IT-BPO industry in the country which has classified Chandigarh region including Mohali and Panchkula, as the "challenger" locations in India as an attractive location for the IT industry.
