Erich Nesselhauf to take over as the new MD & CEO of Daimler India Commercial Vehicle (DICV). He will replace Marc Llistosella, currently Managing Director & CEO - Daimler India Commercial Vehicles (DICV) who will become Head - Marketing, Sales & After-sales, Trucks Asia & Daimler India Commercial Vehicles (DICV).

The new management change will come into effect from June 01, 2014. Erich Nesselhauf, currently Vice President - Supply Chain at DICV becomes Managing Director and CEO at DICV, effective June 1, 2014.

Llstosella has been the face of Daimler India, a subsidiary of German automajor Dailmer, since its inspection in 2008. During his tenure the company became the fourth largest commercial vehicle player in the country.

Despite the fact Daimler is a late entrant in the industry, Llstosellla feels that the company's entry into the Indian market couldn’t have been timed any better, with right product solutions and services for customers who, according to him, had limited choice till then. In the past he said the company brought required change in the Indian CV industry.

Currently the company has 14 products in the market and sold 7,500 trucks, as of January 2014, sold since launch (Sepember 2012).

The company started off with the launch of heavy-duty trucks in September 2012, followed by the medium-duty trucks in 2013 and now covers the entire range of trucks from 9- tonne to 49-tonne with the launch of tractor range in January this year. Recently the company also laid foundation stone for a bus manufacturing facility inside Daimler's Rs 4,400 crore facility at Oragadam, near Chennai.

Kai-Uwe Seidenfuss, currently Senior Vice President of Sales & After Sales at MFTBC, becomes Head - Corporate Audit at Daimler AG effective June 01, 2014.
