Escorts starts its OPD session in UP

Escorts Heart Institute and Research Centre Ltd (EHIRCL), cardiac care hospital in Delhi, today started its first Out Patient Department (OPD) sessions in the state here.     

Inaugurating the session at Krishna Medical Centre here, Director Cardiac Surgery, EHIRCL, Dr Y K Mishra said, "We are very happy to bring high quality cardiac care to the people of Uttar Pradesh who would no longer have to travel to Delhi for basic cardiac check-ups".     

 

"The OPD sessions will also help in creating awareness amongst the people about growing heart ailments and we believe that these timely cardiac care check-ups and diagnosis will certainly help in improving the quality of people's life," he said.     

Head of Krishna Medical Centre, Dr Chandrawati said the association with EHIRCL would immensely benefit their patients. "It's a moment of pride for all us to be associated with the leaders in cardiac care. Our patients requiring regular cardiac check-ups will now have the Escorts assurance," she said.     

The EHIRCL is planning to take forward this initiative to Agra, Kanpur, Allahabad, Varanasi, Mathura, Roorkee and Saharanpur, where the patients will be able to consult cardiologists at the OPD on a fortnightly basis in their respective regions.     

The EHIRCL has tied up with several city healthcare centres, hospitals, nursing homes in the state and is also looking at extending these services to other parts of the country.
