Essel Propack starts production at Russian plant

Essel Propack has started commercial production at its greenfield plant in Moscow.

Ashok Goel, vice-chairman and MD of Essel Propack, said: "We were supplying tubes to our key customers in Russia from our operations in another country. The volumes have now grown to a level that makes a new plant viable in Russia."

"The Russian market offers good potential for both laminated and plastic tubes. Oral care, cosmetics and personal care products are our primary focus," an official release said.
