Eveready plans Rs 60cr plant in Uttaranchal

The board of directors of Eveready Industries today approved a proposal to set up a factory in Uttaranchal.

According to a release issued by the company to the BSE today, the factory  will have a capacity to manufacture 400 million pieces of dry cell batteries per annum at an estimated investment of Rs 60 crore.

"The project is expected to be implemented over the next 18 months," the release said.
