The US-based Everest Group, which set up its first research and development and consultancy office at New Delhi in December last year, expects to generate a revenue of over $10 million in the first three years of its Indian operations.

The business process outsourcing (BPO) consultancy firm is well established as a Tier-one provider of strategic sourcing advisory services, the company said.

"India is a huge market for outsourcing activities and the manpower here is the best in the world. We are planning to generate a revenue of over $10 million in the next three years," said Peter Bendor Samuel, founder and chief executive officer, Everest Group.

The group is engaged in providing strategic advisory services that help companies worldwide harness the power of outsourcing, the company said.

With offices in the United States, Canada and Australia, the company serves clients around the world.

The breadth and depth of experience of the company helps it deliver expert analysis and strategic results, the company said. Since 1991, the group has completed hundreds of major outsourcing transactions in more than 30 key business processes, the company said.

"We help companies create sourcing strategies and outsourcing relationships that deliver total value, improving performance and results throughout their organisations. Our flexible, collaborative approach analyses the specifics of each sourcing challenge. Throughout the process, we encourage collaboration between buyers and service providers to spark creativity and lay the groundwork for long-term outsourcing success. The result is a solution that recognises the strengths, weaknesses and strategic objectives of both parties," said Samuel.

The services offered by the group include healthcare and financial services for manufacturing and telecommunications sectors, amongst others.

Everest Group was founded in 1991 and is planning to set up offices in Singapore and London.

"The group is committed to continuing research and analysis of the strategic issues of the outsourcing market. We have developed specialised training and knowledge management systems that enable our consultants to create and share innovative approaches worldwide. We make outsourcing knowledge available to the broader public through www.outsourcing-center.com, an online educational resource on outsourcing," Samuel said.

The group has helped companies decide off shoring potential and harnessed deals to the tune of over $7 billion, the company said.
