Everonn Systems to provide virtual education

Education content provider Everonn Systems, which is all set to foray into Gujarat, will approach at least 25 colleges in Gujarat to offer education virtually.
 
The firm provides content on for various subjects, ranging from spoken English courses to technical and management studies.
 
"We will offer virtual education through satellite, in which we will provide infrastructure including furniture, computer or screen in one of the class room given by the college. Any student or group of students, will purchase a package from us to learn any subject and for that we will arrange an expert of that particular subject, who will teach and educate them online or live via satellite from our Chennai studio," said P Kishore, managing director, Everonn Systems.
 
He said that Everonn had all kinds of content. "Ranging from English-speaking to engineering or management studies, we have all kinds of expertise in each and every discipline for teaching online," said Kishore.
 
"Currently, we have around 106 colleges in South India, in which we offer education via satellites. When we foray into Gujarat, initially we will approach at least 25 colleges before January 2007," he said.
 
The cost of the course starts from Rs 750 for a 30-hour English-speaking course to Rs 1.8 lakh for a two-year diploma management course.
 
He further said that the turnover of the company is around Rs 55 crore, which is growing at a pace of 60 per cent on year-on-year basis.
