Gopinath’s former colleagues in Air Deccan and Deccan 360 have set up Indiaontime Express, a new cargo and logistics company. Slated for launch in August, the company is being headed by Mohan Kumar, Air Deccan’s former chief financial officer. Others on board include E S Sudharsan and S Krishnan, who headed sales and operations in Deccan 360, Gopinath’s cargo airline
“We will handle packages, which will be shipped through our surface network and belly space in airlines. We will be conducing charter business as a revenue stream through strategic agreements with charter operators. Currently, we are on project mode and intend to start full-fledged business from August,” said S Sudharsan, the company's chief executive officer.
