Exhibition on Le Corbusier in A'bad

Home to four architectural edifices from Le Corbusier, the Swiss born French architect, Ahmedabad will host an international exhibition on Corbusier titled 'From Marseilles to Chandigarh, 1945-1965' from January 5, 2008.
 
Organised by the Le Corbusier Foundation, Paris, the 18-day exhibition will showcase more than 200 works, plans, models, paintings, sculptures, tapestries, manuscripts, books, drawings, photographs and other pieces from the collection of the foundation.
 
The travelling exhibition from Delhi and Chandigarh will be mounted in Ahmedabad at the Ahmedabad Textile Mills' Association (ATMA), one of the creations of Le Corbusier.
 
Vastushilpa Foundation, in association with Alliance Francaise and the CEPT University, will also organise a series of lectures and events.
