EXL sets up LPO division

Nasdaq-listed Indian business process outsourcing (BPO) company EXL Service Holdings has hired a head for its newly-formed legal process outsourcing (LPO) unit. The company plans to add four to six clients in the vertical next year. Currently, EXL has one client in the LPO segment.

“We are now focusing on LPO, though insurance will remain our main business. Utilities is another area of interest,” confirmed Rohit Kapoor, president and CEO, EXL Service Holdings. Sources say that Shantanu Ghosh is the operating leader of the LPO unit.
