Kolkata-based FMCG firm Emami today said it expects its flagship 'Boroplus' to become a Rs 500 crore brand in the next two years.

In order to achieve the target, the company will launch more products under the brand besides rolling out aggressive advertising campaigns specifically during this winter season.

"Emami is all set to grow its brand to a whopping Rs 500 crore in the next two years," the company said in a statement adding that the brand is now worth Rs 250 crore.

The company said it will launch two products -- 'Boroplus Healthy & Fair Winter Cream' and 'Boroplus Intensive Skin Therapy Cream' -- along with three advertisement campaigns this winter.

"These two innovative products along with the string of ad campaigns will add to the brand's popularity and growth in capturing additional market shares," Emami Group of Companies Director Harsh Vardhan Agarwal said.
