Leading domestic fan manufacturers are betting big on the potential of overseas markets to drive their businesses.
"We are looking at the huge opportunity of export markets like the Middle East, Asia and Africa," chairman of the CII-affiliated Indian Fan Manufacturers Association (IFMA) Rohit Mathur said.
The government should lay down a policy framework which would help them in exporting their products, Mathur told reporters at the AGM of IFMA here today.
He said that in the last fiscal, the fan industry had grown by 8.2 per cent, against a de-growth of three per cent in the previous fiscal.
