Maharashtra Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has served a notice to Wipro for allegedly "misbranding and mislabelling" its baby oil.

"We have served notice to Wipro for misbranding and mislabelling its baby oil manufactured under the name `Wipro Baby Soft' about four days ago," FDA commissioner A Ramkrishnan said here today.

FDA has given the company about two weeks' time to respond to the notice, he said. The FDA had earlier served notices on Johnson & Johnson for allegedly "mislabelling" its baby care products.
