FedEx Express, a subsidiary of FedEx Corp, today announced the availability of FedEx Import services in India. The service enables FedEx to meet the growing needs of Indian importers looking for reliable and customised import express services, in addition to the export and domestic services FedEx provides.
The new services will be available from more than 220 countries and territories worldwide. The services enable customers to raise invoices and make payments in rupees and import customers can enjoy the same benefits, expertise and high quality service, as with FedEx export and domestic services.
“With the Import services, FedEx aims to stimulate this growth further by providing customers with the widest range of shipping solutions for all business needs in India --- export, import and domestic,” said Kenneth F Koval, vice president operations, FedEx Express India.
