Fiat Group adds two new dealers in Bangalore

Dealerships will retail Linea and Punto and upcoming launches

FIAT Group Automobiles India Pvt Ltd (FGAIPL) on Saturday expanded its dealership network with the opening of two independent dealerships at Bangalore.

Speaking on the occasion, Enrico Atanasio, Managing Director, Fiat Group Automobiles India Pvt Ltd said, "FIAT India is aggressively focussing on increasing its footprint in India and today’s launch is continuation of its rapid expansion strategy.”

The new dealership, Vecto Motors, located on Hosur Road will exclusively cater to FIAT India and will retail its two existent models: Linea and Punto of its Absolute editions along with a series of new launches slated to hit the Indian shores in the coming years.

FIAT India also inaugurated another exclusive dealership Aadya Motors at Mekhri Circle, Bellary Road. Aadya Motors has extensive experience in the automobile retail trade and has successfully managed dealerships for auto giants like Tata Motors, Kinetic and Ducati

FGAIPL is a fully owned subsidiary of Fiat Group Automobiles SpA, Italy. The company was incorporated in India in March 2012 and distributes FIAT and Jeep vehicles in the country through an independent dealer network. The company is currently selling the FIAT Linea and Punto models, which are manufactured by the Tata-Fiat joint venture. The company in India has around 100 employees and plans to have 120 dealers by the end of 2013.
