Italian car maker Fiat today launched the Punto Pure at Rs 4.49 lakh for the petrol version.
The hatchback will be available in two variants, a 1.2-litre fire petrol engine producing 68 bhp of peak power, and a 1.3-litre multi-jet diesel engine that produces 76bhp of power.
At the pricing, it will compete against Maruti Swift, Hyundai Grand i10 and Chevrolet Beat to name a few.
Kevin Flynn, president and managing director, Fiat Chrysler India, said, “India is a strategic market for us and this is an integral part of our commitment to widen our portfolio and to provide greater value not only to our customers, but other stakeholders as well.”
The company also showcased the Linea 125, which has a 1.4-litre T-Jet petrol engine making 125 bhp of peak power. Along with this, the company also showcased the Urban Cross concept with the same engine, but which generates 140bhp power.
