FII-TO-FII TRADES: Tata Steel logs huge volume

The FIIs trading counter reported a turnover of Rs 481 crore with 79 lakh shares changing hands on Wednesday.

Tata Steel logged a huge volume of 2.89 million shares valued at around Rs 180 crore. The stock was traded at Rs 625 in the FIIs segment - a 2.63% premium over the spot price.

ICICI Bank (1.88 million shares), Bharti Tele-Ventures (1.86 million shares) and Union Bank (3.52 lakh shares) were the other volume toppers.

SBI continued to be traded at a premium of 16.25% with 1.44 lakh shares traded at Rs 1090 as against the spot price of Rs 937.60.
