FIIs net buyers of Rs 2,662cr in cash mkt on Wed

Foreign institutional investors (FIIs) were net buyers of Rs 2,662.06 crore (provisional) on Wednesday, according to data released by BSE.

While FIIs made gross purchases of Rs 7,746.78 crore, gross sales totalled Rs 5,084.72 crore.

Domestic institutional investors (DIIs) were net sellers of Rs 221.73 crore on Wednesday. While DIIs made gross purchases of Rs 1,219.08 crore, gross sales totalled Rs 1,440.81 crore.

FIIs were net buyers of Rs 2,196 crore on Monday, October 1, according to data released by Sebi on Wednesday. While FIIs made gross purchases of Rs 4,933.70 crore, gross sales totalled Rs 2,737.70 crore.

Mutual funds (MFs) were net sellers of Rs 207.80 crore on Monday. MFs made purchases of Rs 545 crore and sales of Rs 752.80 crore.
