FIIs net sellers of Rs 1,543cr in cash market

Foreign institutional investors (FIIs) were net sellers of Rs 1,543.44 crore (provisional) on Monday, according to data released by BSE.

While FIIs made gross purchases of Rs 3,932.09 crore, gross sales totalled Rs 5,475.53 crore.

Domestic institutional investors (DIIs) were net buyers of Rs 327.64 crore on Monday. While DIIs made gross purchases of Rs 1,806.64 crore, gross sales totalled Rs 1,479 crore.

FIIs were net buyers of Rs 508.80 crore on Friday, January 4, according to data released by Sebi on Monday. While FIIs made gross purchases of Rs 4,549.40 crore, gross sales totalled Rs 4,040.60 crore.

Mutual funds (MFs) were net buyers of Rs 616.60 crore on Friday. MFs made purchases of Rs 1,609.20 crore and sales of Rs 992.60 crore.
