Financial Technologies forms alliance with IGNOU

Financial Technologies (FT) entered into an alliance with Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) to promote nation-wide education in financial markets.


A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between Financial Technologies Knowledge Management Company (FTKMC)--a knowledge hub of FT Group-- and IGNOU to conduct a one-year postgraduate diploma in the financial markets practice through its distance education programme.

The programme will start from June 2009. It will have five courses: equity market, derivatives, commodity, currency and bond markets and professional practice in financial markets. FTKMC will be the content provider for the course and IGNOU will deliver the programme through the face mode coupled with open distance learning component.

 

The programme is designed by a group of experts drawn from FTKMC, IGNOU, Institute if Financial Market Research (Chennai), Indian Institute of Management (Bangalore), Religare Securities and independent professionals.
