Fire at Havell's factory destroys Rs 1cr property

A fire broke out in a factory of electrical products company Havell's India in the industrial estate here late last night destroying property worth around Rs one crore, police said today.
 
Seven fire tenders were pressed into service to douse the fire that started from a store in the factory premises and soon turned into a major blaze, Senior Superintendent of Police Abhinav Kumar said.
 
He said it took the fire tenders five hours to bring the fire under control.
 
No injury or loss of life was reported, he said.
