Fire at M&M factory costs Rs 60 lakh

Auto giant Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M) has said that the damage caused due to the fire which broke out yesterday at its Nagpur facility is expected to be of around Rs 60 lakh.

The damage is fully covered by insurance and necessary insurance claim is being initiated, the company said in a note today. No injuries were reported in the incident.

On the Bombay Stock Exchange, the shares of M&M were trading flat at Rs 1037.70, up 0.05 per cent at IST 1419.
