The investment committees of Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) and General Insurance Corporation of India (GIC) are meeting separately on Wednesday to decide on whether to sell their collective 17.7 per cent stake in VST Industries to Bright Star Investment at the revised offer of Rs 151 per share, or to sell to Russell Credit at a lower price of Rs 125. The institutions will collectively meet later to ratify the decision.
