Flawless Diamond India bags orders worth Rs 33.6 cr

Jewellery maker Flawless Diamond India today said it has bagged two orders worth Rs 33.6 crore from Tsutsumi Jewellery Co, Japan, and Brilliant Gems Inc, USA.

The company has received orders worth Rs 24 crore from Tsutsumi Jewellery Co and Rs 9.6 crore from Brilliant Gems Inc, Flawless Diamond India said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange.

"India is the emerging market as in spite of recession it has withstood the recession. Now the world economy and global diamond market have start showing improvement in demand and in India," Flawless Diamond India Managing Director Bhawar U Jain said.

Shares of Flawless Diamond India surged five per cent to hit upper circuit at Rs 37.80 on the BSE.
