Flydubai launches services to India, three cities chosen

Flydubai, Dubai's first low cost airline, has chosen Lucknow, Coimbatore and Chandigarh, to start its Indian operations, beginning from July 13, as part of its expansion plans.    

The airline will start with flights to North Eastern city of Lucknow on July 13, followed by Coimbatore in the South the next day.

The destinations would be completed only July 23, when flights to the North Western City of Chandigarh commences, a Flydubai release said here today.    

The company was committed to making travel between Lucknow, Coimbatore and Chandigarh and the UAE a little less complex, little less stressful and a little less expensive, in view of huge Indian expatriate population in UAE, it said.    

 

FZ450 will depart for Dubai from Lucknow on July 14 and will operate four times per week. Charges will start from Rs 4,700 including all taxes and one piece of hand baggage weighing upto 10 kg.    

The thrice-weekly Coimbatore service, FZ414, will take off for Dubai on July 15, charging Rs 4,700.    

FZ432 will become the First International flight to depart from Chandigarh airport, when it takes off on July 23, from Chandigarh with the travel charges starting from Rs 3,700, the release said.
