The first half-hour of the special- Floyd's India would present to the world the local and distinct cuisine, culture and traditions of five Indian cities-Jaipur, Chennai, Kolkata, Mumbai, Goa. |
The second half-hour of the programme "Floyd uncorked" will present Indian viewers the art of wine making and appreciation exploring the crisp, sparkling wines of Champagne and the sweet wines of Sauterne. |
The first episode will feature the attractive landscape, magnificent palaces and gastronomy of India's Pink City. Floyd, to capture the realness of the city, shuns modern day luxuries and presents the buzz around Bapu Bazaar and Hawa Mahal from rides on cycle rickshaw and camel cart. Floyd also visits the neighbouring villages and uses his culinary expertise to cook regional delicacies. |
The other India's cuisines and preparations captured on the programme include - Vindaloo in Goa, street food of Mumbai, Chettinad food of Chennai and fish curry in Kolkata. |
