"With the realignment of prices, Figo and Aspire are even more compelling for customers," said Anurag Mehrotra, executive director (Marketing, Sales and Service) at Ford India. Interestingly, the two top players- Maruti Suzuki and Hyundai- have announced price hikes of up to Rs 20,000 across products.
Under the new pricing, Ford Aspire's Titanium (+) variant will be available at Rs 6,80,150 (ex-showroom Delhi, Petrol) as compared to previous price of Rs 7,45,150 and Rs 7,89, 850 (ex-showroom Delhi, diesel) against earlier price of Rs 8,54,850. The Figo's top-end variants will now cost Rs 628,700 (ex-showroom Delhi, petrol) against previous price of Rs 6',58,700 and Rs 7,17,750 (ex-showroom Delhi, diesel) compared to Rs 7,67,750 earlier. Other variants have also seen a price revision. Ford is the eighth largest player in the domestic passenger vehicle market with a market share of about three per cent.
