Car maker Ford India today reported 22.46% decline in total sales in May this year at 5,993 units.
The company had sold a total of 7,729 units in the same month last year, Ford India said in a statement.
Domestic sales also went down by 33.69% to 4,002 units in May this year as against 6,036 units in the same month last year, it added.

Commenting on the sales performance, Ford India Vice President (Sales) Anurag Mehrotra said: "Despite the difficult industry situation we are confident of the long-term potential of the Indian market. Stronger export sales are a clear sign that our One Ford plan is working with more products that consumers want and value."
