Former AAI chairman Ramalingam to head Maytas Infra

K Ramalingam, former chairman of Airport Authority of India (AAI), has been appointed as the chairman of Maytas Infra board, said the company statement on the Bombay Stock Exchange.

Earlier this month, the government had appointed K Ramalingam and past president of Assocham Anil K Agarwal - on the board of Maytas Infra, a company promoted by kin of disgraced founder Chairman of Satyam B Ramalinga Raju.

Tax lawyer O P Vaish and past president of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India Ved Jain are also on the board of Maytas Infra following an order by the Company Law Board in this regard.
