Personal computer maker Lenovo India today announced a rejig in its management team with Rajiv Rao, a former Dell executive, joining the company to head its SMB business.
Rao, who was head of channel operations at Dell India, has over 18 years of experience and has worked with Pepsi, HP besides Dell before starting his own venture from where he has now joined Lenovo.
"I am confident the new team will help steer Lenovo towards its business goals," Lenovo India Managing Director Amar Babu said in a statement.
Among other changes, Rajesh Thadani who has been leading the consumer business unit, will now independently handle the segment. He was earlier reporting into Alex Li.
Hunter Zhou will head services support division of Lenovo India. Hunter was previously with Lenovo EMG in the role of Director- Call Centre and Technical Service Support for China and Service Delivery for REM (rest of Emerging Markets).
In his new India role, Hunter will be responsible for service delivery and services sales for India and South Asia.
